LIIAR Analysis









Language - The masthead gives the impression to the reader that women prefer a man in pink.
                 - It also implies that femininity in men does not matter and that they shouldn't care if an                        aftershave is pink, they should just give into their feminine side.
                 - The models confidence implies to the reader that he is telling them "this could be you if                       you buy this aftershave)
                 - The woman in the image shows that she has deep lust for the man who wears this                                 aftershave.

Institution - The company that makes the aftershave (Joop!) share this ideology.

Ideology -  That young men can go out and have meaningless sex while wearing this aftershave.
               -   That women will love his feminine side and would always choose him over others.
               -   That you will be cocky and confident just like the man on the picture (is ignoring his                             sexual partner)
               -  That all 18+ citizens should go out and have fun, and try and attract as many women /                          men as they want by wearing products like this.

Audience - 18+ men
                - Boy / Men who have a regular active sex life
               
Representation - Representing women as objects (man ignoring woman in picture)
                         - Represents men who wear this aftershave act as magnets to females.
